Molecular Biosciences Application Information

Thank you for your interest in our graduate programs. The SMB research track offers both Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in Molecular Biosciences. The professional track offers a non-thesis M.S. degree option.

Research Track Ph.D. and M.S.

Submit Graduate School application by December 15, forms and instructions available at WSU Graduate School.

Recommended undergraduate coursework includes Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physics, Calculus, Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics and Cell/Molecular Biology.

The graduate school application consists of the following:

  • $75 fee
  • Statement of Purpose
  • General GRE for all students and TOEFL for International students
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • Transcripts
  • Answer two video questions







Professional Science Master's (PSM) Track

Submit Graduate School application by November 1, March 1, or June 1, forms and instructions available at WSU Graduate School.

The graduate school application consists of the following:

  • $75 fee
  • Statement of Purpose
  • TOEFL for International students
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • Transcripts
  • Answer two video questions
